The Must-Haves
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal clearance.
- Strong software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team participation.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams.
Bonus If You Have:
- Active VA or DOD clearance
- Active PIV card

- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience with large-scale projects, with cross-functional development teams, multiple contractors, and support personnel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to details under tight deadline constraints is essential.
- Excellent relationship building skills and sound interpersonal skills, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Experience working with HL7, HIPAA transaction sets, and EDI engines.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies, best practice standards for creating User Stories, Business Requirements Documents,Interface Control Documents, and Change Requests
- Experience with relational databases
- Makes recommendations in setting up process standards, policies and procedures in interface design, development, implementation and maintenance.
- Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others
- Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Leads the processing and maintenance of SFTP functionality between client and company for inbound data
- Follow existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts
- Create, analyze, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, enhance and maintain interfaces in various formats.
- Design and develop ETL transformations and mappings (extracting, transforming and loading data) from a variety of data formats and structures into enterprise-scale databases.
- Create and maintain interfaces between applications systems
- Maintain documentation and process flow of relevant EDI processes
- Makes recommendations in setting up process standards, policies and procedures in interface design, development, implementation and maintenance.
